Booking terms and conditions

These terms apply to rooms and event spaces booked directly with MM Residency, No. 31/3 to 31/5, Kalanivasal, Sekkalai Road, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu 630002 (GSTIN 33DQYPM2371B1ZQ).

Making a booking

A booking is confirmed when we send you a confirmation. No card is taken and no payment is due at the time of booking. Rates shown are per room per night, room only, in Indian rupees, and exclude government taxes unless stated otherwise on the booking screen.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is at 2 pm. An earlier check-in or a later check-out is subject to availability on the day and may be charged; ask the front desk rather than assuming. Guests aged 18 and over must present a valid government photo ID at check-in, as Indian law requires. Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa.

Occupancy

Rates are for the occupancy shown on the room. A third guest can be accommodated in any room type on an extra bed at the charge quoted at the time of booking. Children may share with parents; tell us their ages when booking so the right room is held.

Payment

Payment is due at the hotel, on arrival or on departure as agreed at check-in. We accept cash, UPI and card. A GST invoice is issued for every stay - give us your GSTIN at check-in if you need it on the bill.

Cancellation

Set out in full on our cancellation policy page. In short: free up to 24 hours before arrival.

Your room and the hotel

Rooms open with an RFID card issued against your booking, which stops working when your stay ends. Please report a lost card at once so it can be cancelled. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms. Pets are not accommodated. Guests are responsible for damage to the room or its contents beyond fair wear and tear.

Please do not leave cash, jewellery or valuables unattended in the room. The hotel does not accept liability for items left in a room or a vehicle, or for loss or damage arising from events outside our reasonable control.

Parking

Parking on site is free and is offered on an unattended basis. Vehicles are left at the owner's risk.

Events

Banquet hall and event bookings are governed by the quotation and terms issued for that event, which take precedence over this page where they differ.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.
