About MM Residency

MM Residency is a family-run hotel in Karaikudi, in the Chettinad region of Tamil Nadu. We are at No. 31/3 to 31/5, Kalanivasal, on Sekkalai Road - a few minutes from the middle of town, on a road that is easy to find and easy to park on.

We keep twelve guest rooms and one banquet hall, and that is deliberate. It is a size at which the person who takes your call is the person who will be at the desk when you arrive, and at which a request for a late checkout or an early breakfast is a conversation rather than a ticket.

Most of our guests are here for work, for a wedding or a family function in Karaikudi, or on their way through Chettinad. What they have in common is that they want a clean, quiet, air-conditioned room, somewhere safe to leave the car, and a bill with no surprises on it. That is what we have built the hotel around.
